The BiodiverCity Collective is a non-profit organisation set up to
contribute to strategic greening in cities. We bring together a number
of independent professionals that offer an innovative, flexible
methodology around urban greening.
We enable local organisations to train and collaborate
with the public to take ecological restoration within the city to the next level.

Our approach is based on combining co‑designed urban planning, citizen participation, and scientifically rigorous ecological restoration. We work with municipalities and local NGOs and community groups to map underused public spaces, identify priority species, and train local citizens to set up a network of connected gardens and spaces that can create a stepping-stone ecological corridor within the city.
We are a team of diversely skilled professionals who can design urban biodiversity corridors that enhance life for local people, and ensure citizens are active participants in bringing back the bird and butterfly and other life to their urban spaces.
